1997
"What is a guy from Leicester, a Swedish girl, a family father and a gay couple doing on a deserted island between Denmark and Sweden?", (Middelgrundsfortet, Denmark).
The five artists were invited to stay on a small island between Copenhagen and Malm for one week each during the month of August 1997. While they were there they did sight specific work and/or performance related work that included the visitors. The island was once a military fortress where nothing have happened the last 10 years, however now it has become a easy going place for tourists.
Participating artists: Jonathan Monk, Annika Ström, Christian Schmidt-Rasmussen + family and Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragset.
