Jørgen Michaelsen (b. 1961), Danish visual artist. Graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Previously published 3 SAMTALER (OM KUNST) (with I.N. Kjær, Gyldendal, 1994).

Participated in the artist collaboration  Koncern° (1989-1994) and in founding and running the exhibition space Max Mundus (1994-96). Co-editor of the periodicals Månedsskrift for kunst og kunstrelateret materiale (1994-99) and MUTANT — kunstdiskurspolitik (2002-).

Separate exhibitions of note are MESO. Songs of Mutual Resistance & Fortification (2002) and ENDO. A Natural Selection (2004).

Besides selected writings by Michaelsen, 

AUTO contains essays by Rune Gade, Peter Laugesen and Nikolaj Lübecker.
